While waiting to understand what will happen with the Turkey-linked Rafael Leao, AC Milan are evaluating several attacking midfielders, including a former player of theirs.
According to Corriere della Sera, as cited by MilanNews, the likes of Ethan Nwaneri (Arsenal) and Franco Mastantuono (Real Madrid) are two of the names being monitored. The latter would like a return to River Plate, but the Bernabeu side are pushing for a loan in Europe.
It could be a move similar to the one that brought Brahim Diaz to Milan several years back. At the age of 18, Mastantuono needs playing time and the Rossoneri can provide that, just like they did with the Moroccan international.
