Al Nassr delivered a commanding 4-0 victory over Portuguese side Rio Ave in a friendly match at the Algarve Stadium on Thursday, August 7, 2025, with Cristiano Ronaldo stealing the show by scoring a hat-trick and João Félix providing two assists.
The Saudi Pro League giants showcased their attacking prowess, with Ronaldo’s clinical finishing and Félix’s creativity proving decisive in the pre-season thrashing.
Ronaldo opened his account in the 44th minute, capitalising on a precise assist from Félix to give Al Nassr the lead.
French defender Mohamed Simakan had earlier broken the deadlock in the 18th minute, heading in a corner to set the tone.
Ronaldo added his second in the 63rd minute, finishing a swift counter-attack, and completed his hat-trick five minutes later from a penalty kick, earned after Félix was fouled in the box.
The former Atlético Madrid star, who started alongside Ronaldo and Sadio Mané, was instrumental, setting up two of the goals in a performance that highlighted his growing influence.
Despite the dominant scoreline, Al Nassr’s victory could have been even more emphatic, as Mané missed a penalty in the 75th minute, striking the post.
