Liverpool ready to do whatever it takes to land Real Madrid star

The future of Rodrygo Goes has been widely discussed in recent weeks and his limited minutes in the recently concluded FIFA Club World Cup has only further fuelled such talks.

Rodrygo, who scored 14 goals and 11 assists as season, did not enjoy his best form last season and often found himself scapegoated in the manager’s constant switching of formation.

Xabi Alonso’s arrival has not helped his cause either, especially with the new manager opting for two forwards and an extra midfielder.

Given all the heavy signings they have made this summer, Real Madrid are not completely against selling the young star despite his prominence in recent years, especially given that they already have Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Jr as regular starters. A sale, thus, is likely.

It has been Rodrygo’s dream for a long time now to play in the Premier League and Arsenal have been the club most closely linked with his signing. The Gunners, however, now face local competition as relayed by AS.
