Chelsea are preparing to make an offer worth €50 million for the services of Atletico Madrid midfield star Pablo Barrios.
According to a report from Fichajes, Pablo Barrios’ exceptional rise at Atletico Madrid have caught the attention of Chelsea who are keen on acquiring his services. The Blues are willing to make an offer of around €50 million to sign the Spanish youth international.
Barrios was a part of the Real Madrid youth ranks back in the day before he made the switch to the other side in the summer of 2017. He went up the ranks at some pace and got promoted to their first team at the start of 2023.
The 21-year-old central midfielder has only gone from strength to strength in the last 18 months. He has featured in 68 matches for Atletico’s first team and has established himself as an important player under Diego Simeone.
