Ruben Amorim ‘agrees’ to become Man Utd’s next manager

Ruben Amorim has agreed to become the next Manchester United manager with the Red Devils and Sporting Lisbon now in negotiations over a compensation package

The Red Devils and Sporting are currently negotiating a compensation package, but it seems that Amorim, 39, is set to replace Erik ten Hag.

Amid interest from Manchester City, United made their move, with Amorim being City’s top choice to replace Pep Guardiola should he decide to leave when his contract ends.

Bookies are tipping Amorim as a hot favourite for the Old Trafford hot seat, and he’s also been touted as a possible heir to Pep Guardiola at Manchester City.
