Aston Villa playmaker Morgan Rogers is expected to be pursued by Chelsea throughout the remainder of this summer transfer window, and they’re willing to make a number of players withing their existing, substantial, squad available for a move in the opposite direction in order to manufacture a move.
Rogers’ first full season at Villa last year was a roaring success; having got his feet under the table in the second half of the 2023/24 season following his move from Middlesbrough, the attacker came to the fore and established himself as an integral member of the starting XI for Unai Emery, in the Premier League and the Champions League.
Reports claim that the Blues will make available defenders Benoit Badiashile, Tosin Adarabioyo and Trevoh Chalobah – the latter previously linked with Villa – for moves in the opposite direction in the hope that it’ll help to tempt Villa into parting with one of their most prized assets.
