Ruben Amorim blames one Man Utd star as the Red Devils slump to Wolves defeat

Bruno Fernandes was sent off as Manchester United crashed to a 2-0 defeat at Wolves, and Red Devils boss Ruben Amorim didn’t hold back with his criticism of the midfielder

Ruben Amorim didn’t hold back in his criticism of Bruno Fernandes following his red card in Manchester United’s crushing defeat to Wolves.

The Red Devils suffered their third consecutive loss in all competitions as they were beaten 2-0 at Molineux on Boxing Day.

After a closely contested first half, Fernandes’ second yellow card for a foul on Nelson Semedo handed Wolves the upper hand. Matheus Cunha broke the deadlock with an inswinging corner that sailed over Andre Onana and into the far corner.

Amorim opened up about Fernandes’ red card, remarking: “I think he cannot go to the ball. He’s trying to reach the ball and some guys are not even looking at the ball but I don’t want to focus on that.
