Liverpool’s interest in signing Bournemouth left-back Milos Kerkez has allegedly been confirmed to a Hungarian sporting director by current midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai.
The Reds have switched between Andy Robertson and Kostas Tsimikas this season but concerns over the long-term fitness of both players – as well as dwindling form from the former – have seen the Premier League leaders linked with a number of potential replacements, including 21-year-old Kerkez.
Alongside Liverpool, the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United and Real Madrid have all been named as possible suitors for Kerkez by various outlets.
According to Istvan Salloi, sporting director of Hungarian side Zalaegerszegi, Liverpool are serious about signing Kerkez, with fellow countryman Szoboszlai said to have confirmed the Reds’ interest to him directly.
