Real Madrid are showing significant interest in signing Diogo Dalot, the 25-year-old right-back from Manchester United.
Real Madrid have been actively planning to strengthen their full-back positions. While the right-back spot seems set to be filled by Trent Alexander-Arnold, there is growing uncertainty around the left-back role, especially following Alphonso Davies’ recent change of plans.
Given these developments, Real Madrid are now looking at Dalot, who has caught the club’s attention.
Despite that, though, acquiring the Portuguese international won’t be easy. The asking price from Manchester United is expected to be around €50 million, making the deal quite expensive for the Madrid club.
Since joining Manchester United at just 19 years old for €22 million, Dalot has established himself as a key player. His importance now seems to be growing, especially with the arrival of his fellow Portuguese compatriot, Ruben Amorim.
