Paul Scholes sends Ruben Amorim warning

Manchester United are closing in on a deal for Sporting Lisbon boss Ruben Amorim and Red Devils icon Paul Scholes has now shared his thoughts on his potential Old Trafford arrival.

Paul Scholes believes Manchester United have not learned from their mistakes in appointing Ruben Amorim.

Should a deal go through, he would become the tenth man to sit in the Old Trafford hotseat since the exit of Sir Alex Ferguson just over a decade ago. But United icon Scholes isn’t convinced that Amorim is the right man for the job.

He believes that he could potentially go the same way as his predecessor Ten Hag, while suggesting that former Chelsea and current England boss Thomas Tuchel should have been appointed instead.
